New software testing tool for websites

Posted in Acceptance testing by testing in London on December 10, 2007

From PR.com

SmarteSoft Inc. announced the release of software that enables non-technical users to rapidly automate testing of large, complex, transactional web sites.

SmarteScript V5.0 enables users with no programming or scripting background, and no test automation experience, to rapidly create automated test suites that thoroughly test all the features and functionality of web-based applications. SmarteScript is currently being used by firms ranging in size from startup to Fortune 500, for testing both internal and externally-facing transactional web sites.

This release includes support for IE7 (including tabs), embedded IE Java applets, Firefox, Firefox plug-ins, nested test modules, advanced looping capabilities, external files for parameter set looping, user DLL invocation from within tests, sophisticated report distribution, and wizards to guide users through test development. Test case documentation is automatically generated.
