Embedded software testing goes visual

Posted in Acceptance testing by testing in London on March 6, 2008

From Electronic Talk

Hitex has released a new version of Tessy, its tool for automated module/unit testing of embedded software. Key benefits of Tessy V2.6 include an enhanced coverage viewer that provides graphical visualisation and reporting of coverage in the form of a flowchart. The new version also offers automatic generation of test data by combining minimum/maximum values, ranges and user-supplied values.

This automates the complete workflow with Tessy. In addition, Tessy now displays test results graphically, enabling users to check test results visually.

Tessy V2.6 further includes a tool qualification package for use within certification activities according to standards like DO-178B or IEC61508. The package consists of documents and predefined test cases
