Call for papers

The Association for Software Testing has a call for papers for their confenence next year (July 16-18 in San Jose, California). Testing topics include:

  • Test strategies
  • Applying thinking tools to testing
  • Lessons learned from testing projects
  • Determining test coverage
  • Collaborating or cooperating with others
  • Testing against expectations
  • New testing methods
  • Applying knowledge of cognitive skills and biases to testing
  • Bending or breaking the rules
  • Test management and leadership
  • Reporting on testing, possibly including metrics
  • Test automation

To submit a proposal you need to register with for the Socialtext group  (email CAST2012.proposals@gmail.com) and you will be sent the invitation and link.

Timetable

  • November 21, 2011 – Proposal process open
  • January 16, 2012 – Submission deadline for Regular Track and Workshop session proposals. Proposal and peer review process for these session types closed.
  • February 1, 2012 – Notification of program acceptance or rejection for Regular Track and Workshop sessions.
  • June 18, 2012 – Submission deadline for Emerging Topics session proposals. Proposal and peer review process closed.
